I'm planning a flight from Panorama Jhb through Namibia west coast. Any advice on microlight (trike) airstrips or stop overs where accomodation (camping etcs) and ablution facilities are available. Gps co ordinates and or any advice would be appreciated.

I will have ground crew following in a 4x4. Please find attached my basic plan.
Thanks in advance
Helga

I had a look at your flight plan, but is curious to know where do you do custom clearing?
If at Ariamsvlei, is there a Airstrip/Landing strip both RSA and Namibie?
I thought Uppington to Keetmanshoop is the only route.
Please advise as i would like to plan a similar trip.
Regards

I may be able to assist if you need Help in Vryburg (hangar is not high enough for king post SORRY

). I also have a contact or 3 in Jan Kempdorp. Again hangar height may be a problem....
Bothaville trike is not safe overnight. May be able to help with contact for a guard there...

Just a little about Helga.
Helga is Panorama's own Iron lady (not the laundry type please!!!).
She is on the wrong side of Sierra-India-Xray-Tango-Yankee, but a will of her own. (good 4 u Helga)
We applause u for your perseverance & guts.
She's been dreaming about this 'T-shirt' for a long time now, and o-boy she is going to wear it with pride,
just wait, watch and see.

Would like to know as well. Might even join you for a short stretch, if I'm there.
