Hi
If I want to register a Microlight, do I need a Radio station licence if I have a Handheld installed. Do I need MISASA if I have my own insurance. Must I belong to Aero club of SA??
Please Help
Thanx

Legally you are required to ahve a license, Don't know if they will force you to have once when you register since aeries don't require a radio.
You don't need misasa insurance if that what you asking, but I would recommend belongng to MISASA
I think you have to belong to Aero club to get AP done/RAASA?
Enjoy

You have to belong to both Aeroclub and MISASA, otherwise no AP can sign out your maintenance or ATF application.
If you have a radio, which is advisable then you have to have the radio station licence.

Thanks Guys. I belong to MISASA and AERO CLUB and have a radio station licence for my VLA and my microlight. I also have my own 3rd party insurance. I just wanted to know if it were compulsary.
