I received the following mail addressed to owners at Kitty Hawk, but we all know Johhny and if someone would like to contribute, please help this friend.

This is a special appeal to raise funds for Johnny de Jager,a flying instructor and well known face at Kitty Hawk.
Some of you may have heard that on Friday night 29 January,Johnny and his girlfriend Karen were attacked at home.
Johnny managed to wrestle the firearm from one of his assailants and shoot both of his attackers. News is that the attackers would not trouble innocent people ever again.
Unfortunately Johnny suffered a very serious injury to his right arm and has had to undergo extensive surgery.
Johnny unfortunately was not covered by any medical aid and has consequently racked up in excess of R35,000 in hospital costs. He will alsounfortunately not be able to fly for several months and as such will not haveany income to re-pay these costs.
We are appealing to all Kitty Hawk owners and tenants who may wish to contribute towards Johnny’s costs to please make a deposit ofwhatever you are willing to contribute into the following account:
First National Bank (FNB)
Branch: Centurion 261550
Account:62254422191
The account will be managed by the Treasurer of the KittyHawk Body Corporate, Johan Meyer.
I therefore appeal to you to consider helping a fellow aviator in need and contribute to the above fund.
Yours sincerely
