Grumpy gave me the Gps co-ordinates(thanks grumps you a scolar and gentlemen vhpy ) ,

I looked on google and cant really see where the runway is .

I emailed them to find out if i need permission .

Any information would be appreciated , Like condition of Runway .

The runway is the road. They don't have any issues. We almost always arive there without prior notice and eat a lekker breakfast.

The conditions of the "road" is good. beware some of the trees, but isn't a problem. I can send you video clip, but it is 14.5MB

At the moment, there is only 1 place to land, and that is close to the restaurant. We always landed close to the dam, but they are building there, so not possible any more.

Let me know if you need some more detail.

Hey Paul, Landing at Buffels is cowboy stuff if you have not landed there with someone showing you where. We land in the farm road leading to the main building. The surface is smooth gravel but a little narrow. One tree close to 'runway' to be careful of. Then taxi a long way to an open area on the left just before a bunch of huge trees. BUT beware, a flag pole on the right just before parking. We never get permission as we have a breakfast there and they cool with that.
Might sound a bit daunting, but it isnt if you know your way around.

Grumpy

Would you mind sending me the co-ords? Might be cool to do a breakfast thing there tomorrow with my daughter, wx permitting. Maybe you guys are keen to do that as a group tomorrow morning.

Lets put down names, and make it a fly inn. Could always get together at darling cellars and fly further from there.

What do you think??

Then gert can record all the transmissions, and play his beloved "Breakfast at tiffany's blues". Has a nice ring to it.
