To each and every one who made a positive contribution to my personal and professional wellbeing during 2009.
Somehow thank you seems to be such a small word.
I thank you from the bottom of my heart.
To all who contributed to the ARCC and SAR during 2009.
Thank you to every volunteer for all your help, advice and guidance in respect of technical, weather and aircraft operational matters.
Thank you for your interest in your own wellbeing and those of you local aviators, by making use of the invitation by the ARCC to give SAR briefings at clubs, schools, air shows/fly-inns and safety evenings. Keep the invitations coming – it is definitely paying off!
Thank you for every message, SMS, call and E-mail.
Thank you for giving your personal time and resources in the quest to find a downed aviator.
My you be blessed above all expectations.
To the ARCC team
Thank you for always giving 100% and more and thank you for never giving up. Sorry I am such a slave driver but rest assured that a positive rescue is our only goal and the satisfaction to give a downed aviator back to his/her loved ones alive is the ultimate feeling of accomplishment.
To all the resources out there.
Thank you for reacting to every call without hesitation.
Thank you for flying endless search patterns, hanging on ropes over mountain slopes, driving or walking miles in rugged terrain in mostly adverse weather.
Thank you for leaving your loved ones behind to save the life of another.
My prayer for 2010.
To each and every Aviator out there, may your higher power guide you in every decision you make. May every judgment call you make be a wise one.
May each flight you undertake in 2010 be a safe one.
May we all look back on 2010 with no regrets but most of all may there be no aviation families in 2010 that lost their loved ones due to aviation accidents.
May I wish you health, wealth, happiness and prosperity for 2010 and as always take care and fly safe!!!!
