The perfect strip for you is at Monzi, just south of St Lucia estuary, great people and contact Peter Yeld on Oh eight 4 five 5 zero 44 seven nine, he flys an Aircoupe amongst other things, a very good chance you may get a hangar as well. Just a brilliant place and a good runway.

Give him my regards.

Hi Massimo,

What is this nonsence that you are in my back yard and do not contact me ##

Ezulwini strip is fine for your plane and has good accomodation. I was there a couple of months ago, there is a filling station about 200 m from the Hlulhluwe strip, which is about 5 minutes flying from Ezulwini - all you need is a container.

Monzi, although fine to land has no accomodation.

Let me know when you are down here and will tie up with you if possible.

Drove in there years ago. 1200m at least.

Anyone know ? Donovan ?

Yes, it is a decommissioned Defence Force strip, has been taken over and maintained by the local drag racing fraternity, so the condition of the strip remains very good, but I have on occasion arrived overhead to find the strip being used for dragging.

I regularly use the strip as the base for some of my Bateleurs missions around the St. Lucia area.
