Hi there folks
I am happy :D :D :D to announce that the microlighting fraternity will soon have a newly qualified "Lady MPL". Namely my daughter who is 19 years old and uses the nickname "CARMS". She has already logged 3.9hrs and is thoroughly enjoying it. Being a avid skydiver she initially did think microlighting was boring. Her training is being done on my microlight namely a 582 Cobra.
Will keep everyone informed as she makes progress and of course her training is being given by one of the best namely Fred Blokland.

Heya Folks !!
Report on Carm's progress :D :D :D . She is now up at 7.3hours and really enjoying it. Has with very little assistance from the instructor managed to start landing the plane by herself. Radio communication also good and overall doing very well. Ground and radio lectures also completed and i must say im personally quiet chuffed with her progress. Actually at Springs its quiet weird to hear a lady microlighter calling "Left hand downwind", "Base" "Finals" etc etc.

Congrats Chaz and all the best to Carm on her training.

Hey Chaz -
Glad to hear Carm is enjoying her flying. Is she still training in your Cobra or have you sold it? Looking forward to seeing her go solo. Haven't been out at the skydiving club for a while, how's her skydiving coming on? A true lady of the skies!
Greetings
