Medical aid cover when injured in a microlight

Question: Does your medical aid cover you for flying accidents?
I think most don't - I have it in writing that my current medical aid - CAMAF, will cover me at the rates of a private wing of a state hospital, should I be injured while flying microligts - I don't really feel like being hospitalised in Kalafong after I pranged my Blade
This is a very real risk - I can think of 2 friends who have recently had substantial medical expenses due to flying accidents. It can happen to anyone and can ruin you financially.
Fedhealth advertise that they cover risky and adventure sports fully - I have written them a letter and asked them to specifically confirm that they cover microlight accidents - If they confirm full cover I will change medical aids.
Thoughts?

a Letter from my consultant to Discovery:
I have a member who flies a Microlight airplane. He never had a problem before, just want to check with you,
if Discovery will see this as an extreme sport or not?
He just want to make sure that if he ever needs to claim, that he will not have a problem.
Discovery's reply:
I can confirm that he will be covered and if he should be out of SA,
he will be covered under the International Travel Benefit.
Kind regards,

Make sure your flight medical and license remain current. The last thing you need is them refusing to pay due to a legal issue

Maybe MISASA should take this up - a letter to all medical aids and the publish their responses on the MISASA website?

So at least they have moved some on the issue - finally. Still not the best cover but better than the zero cover they were offering and CAMAF is not the cheapest offering either.

Fedhealth have confirmed cover in writing, should I be injured in "aviation other than as a fare paying passenger"
Other paragraph: "Fedhealth specialises in providing cover for people who take part in professional sports and hazardous pursuits within the borders of South-Africa"

Discovery did not cover me after my oops
I drove myself to a Private Clinic. Was rejected cos it was not a standard hospital
Just make sure you go to a recognised hospital.
