Bantam undercarriage / wheels

Mornin all,
Not sure if anyone remembers but at Barberton (CC's Fly in) last year the Bantam on display was sporting a lekker little set of "fat takkies" - they looked great and will allow for a lot more versatility in terms of fields that one can land in and on. - problem was when i chatted to andrew about them they are quite freaking pricy - (about R6000.00) for the set.
Heres my question, what alternatives are there out there, whom would i need to speak to and what pleading would I need to do at CAA. (as a 'mod") - Remember the Bantam wheels also accomodate quite a lekker little set of disk brakes.
Popcorn ready, awaiting input..
