Respect for other peoples property

I was disgusted to find on Saturday when I went to move my trike out of the communal hangar, that someone moved it in the queue and succeeded in damaging the leading edge of a 20 hour old wing, by pushing the wing into a parked trailer there and tearing the fabric...
I'd like to see some/any sort of courtesy coming out of this to see whether the responsible person owns up to and repairs this wing..

I have been the recipient of a number of hangar rash incidents in the past but fortunately my hangar mates are good guys and imediately told me and paid for the repairs
You have a finite number of people in the hangar, start there

Hangar rash is the F*&^%% worst. While preflighting I found my pitot tube broken a while back and the *^&%^%$ had tried to glue it> problem was that the glue was still drying !!! Accidents happen but for the love of goodness please own up to it. !

Had someone "borrow" my prop years ago as he knew I was away on holiday. Did not think I would mind. Was put back and he did not even bother to set the tracking.
Unfortunately it happens in a communal hangar but as the guys have said, have respect and if you do bump something, have the decency and honesty to own up and get your wallet out and pay for the fix.

Thats the nice thing of having your own hanger, if something is out of its place it can only be the rats.

Not to mention Raticus Norvegicus, who decided that Gadget's folded up wing was laying comfortably in the hangar long enough to warrant taking up residence.
and then there are the Boom Slang, Cape Cobras, frogs and millions of Black Widows. Your normal 'run of the mill' hangar mates

Hyaenidae Crocuta also has a taste for wing... Doubt they make suitable hangar mates though!
