Hi there,

Due to outstanding paperwork from overseas we have decided to postpone departure of the Sling to 10am on Friday the 17th of July 2009.

James says that we will serve muffins and coffee to those who want to come and see the departure, and both of them would like to thank everyone who has sent through messages to far.

The date of departure has been moved to 11am on Saturday the 18th of July 2009. The Sling Around the World team have put in a lot of extra hours preparing the aircraft and flight testing and need an unhurried final preparation time and this will give them one more day to double-check everything but more importantly this will give Mike and James time for much needed rest before departure. Of course it also means you can now bring the whole family to enjoy their departure on Saturday.

Correct me if I am wrong guys but I read on the Website that the departure in now set for Saterday 18 July and Not Friday 17 July as stated on microlighters? Anyone have the correct date please, would really like to attend!
