Snakes at Rand..

Postby Oddball » Thu May 14, 2009 9:22 am

The Snakes will be at Rand on Sunday with a couple of new tricks up thier sleeves. The main show, during the day, is largely unchanged, except for the start (if all goes well...) but the big new thing is a dusk show, planned outside of the official airshow times, at 17h30.

If you like sundowners then stick around for one with a difference... its quite spectacular...

I have an image to post but no server to lurk it onto, so if anyone wants to host the picture then mail me at jay@horriblehyde.com

Just upload it to the site. When you post a reply or edit your response you get the option at the bottom to upload the attachment.

Since we moved the site to the new host we have no more bandwidth concerns so I upped the max attachments we can post.

Post away - the system will make a "thumbnail" of a big pic, you can click on that to see the full pic!

Hmmm... I don't see the option- I just get the Img button at the top which inserts the html code, but no option to upload...

I have just been into avcom to catch an update on the Rand airshow. Again I see awesome pictures of the snake team trikes, and I note they are pretty much the only photos there.....(same for the feedback on the Grobbies fly in). Guys (-) you are generating a huge amount of very positive publicity for the microlights, (and a lot of very good desktops & screensavers). Well done & keep it safe... I will be watching on Sunday evening.
If you can fly today - leave everything else for tomorrow

Now all they need to do is not chatter on the SRE frequency when moving from one place to another and rather use 123.45 for that. Listened to them just about blocking the SRE frequency a couple of saturdays ago and thought to myself it's rather unprofessional and not doing the image of microlights any good.
Other than that- enjoy lads and do us proud. Will try to convince the wife that we should stay that late.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.
