Was at the Kyalami track day today and Ldel (lowlevel) and Mr Kruger also enjoying the fun.

My son the youngest one has now taken up this sport and getting along well, and times improving all the time.
Soon we will join Porra on the regional circuit.

Used to race - gave it up to fly...
Last race ended up in the wall at kylami - sunset at 160km/h - oil - oops. Decided no more and it was becoming too expensive. Challenge became a cheque book racing again and my cheque book was not thick enough. In hind site if I had all the money I spent on racing I could have bought a new cheetah.

bad day at kyalami is in the wall and a good day at kyalami was 2nd overall for the day - picture taken at Nashua 2.

(**) Hey Stephan, i did the same back in 2003. I was running my BMW 325i E30 in Super Saloons and landed up selling it to buy my first plane. Never looked back really till a year or two ago when one of my clients decided they want to advertise the company in motor sport! We were looking at historics, but to get the write BMW2002 would put us back too far. So the next best was to take a courtasy car they already had and make a challenge car out of it. And now we racing!!! You are write though, challenge has changed from the days i used to race class d. It has become as competitive as production cars. The budget is also going the same way. Dont know how long my client is going to put up with the costs
