I know of gyro Squadron 196 doing a trip from Cape Town via Kimberley to Botswanna...

Flew from Rand to Bethlehem and back in the slowest 172 EVER :roll:

Light Flight To Richards Bay, back to Virginia for late breakfast and then back Light Flight again. (Sun 19th April. 3.4 Hours in the Sting :) )

Richards bay is still squarely on Zululand time, Tower and entire airport only opened at 10:30 am :(

Ons gaan Grobbies toe vlieg op Sat 1 Mei. ^ Ek hoop om van die manne van Middelburg en Witbank te ontmoet. vhpy Ek is nog onervare en wil graag hoor wat gesels julle manne alles. Ook die local ouens van die omgewing. As julle n Gryskop sien wie lyk of hy kan sukkel met sy radio werk, wil ek jou graag ontmoet. vhpy

Interesting stories will be told from ATC experiences & 50mph headwinds... and you okes thought the wind only blows in Cape Town (**)
