Anybody remember this?

In about '83 or '84 I remember seeing an SAA 747 coming in on final 03 at Smuts ( can call it that cos that's what it was called back then) it was being flanked by 5 fighters ( think they were Cheetahs), 8)

I am assuming that it was something to do with an anniversay either SAA or the SAAF, has anybody got any pics of this?

(I know it was a long time ago)
"wrong" is one of those concepts that depends on witnesses

In those years would they not still have been F1 CZ - cheetah only came later I think?.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

I agree, probably a Mirage or Impala back in those days.
