One question - why the hard pages :?:

Hi Folks , ja you snooze you lose - the January edition was sent out in mid December on the list of paid up members .
If you only paid in January you could still get one by calling aeroclub and talking nicely to them ladies asking them to post you one - easy as that -
Alternatively collect one at the aeroclub offices - we strive to please - Alex ##

If you did not get the Xmas Edition of Microflight Africa you need to contact Natasha Steyn at the Aero Club. The Aero Club manages the membership listing and they collect the subscriptions. She will send you a copy of the Xmas Edition plus she will check that your correct address is listed.

Joining MISASA costs R205 but you must be a member of the Aero Club as MISASA is a sub-section of the Aero Club. The Aero Club membership costs R225. The total is thus R 430. You can get membership forms at http://www.misasa.co.za or phone the Aero Club.

Contact details: Natasha Steyn nsteyn@aeroclub.org.za 0861018018

For those that live in Jhb you can collect a copy at the Aero Club at Rand Airport or if you live in the Northern Suburbs you can get a copy from me in the evenings ( I still have a day job 'cos making the mag is a voluntary ... )

You can view the electronic version of the Xmas Edition at http://www.misasa.co.za and you can download the pictures in the magazine (plus more) at http://community.webshots.com/user/alanmack777

The Easter Edition is in my garage. I'm just waiting for some membership forms from the Aero Club as I've decided that for this issue I will lick the stamps and post them myself as we will use a brown envelope to hide the fact? that the envelope has a MISASA cap in it too! Anyone want to lick envelopes?

Reply to this posting with your name and address and I'll tell you if you are on the MISASA membership list and if your address is correct. If you're shy email me at nemo@webo.co.za

Why the hard paper?
Many reasons- I'll skip the A's and B's and go straight to the C's :

- 'Cos you cannot use it as.....
- 'Cos you're worth it
- 'Cos it carries great pictures like the one above well - see the story in the mag
- 'Cos my predecessor liked it and well who needs another decision
- Costs the same as varnished gloss paper such as is used by most of the big commercial mags and I prefer it

OK help - it is a good question - can someone turn this into a poll please?

option 1 - who wants a cheap black & white newsprint version?
option 2 - who wants a low grade middle of the road version?
option 3 - who wants the current "keepsake" quality version?

Why not send it out as a pdf file ?
Will save you printing and distribution cost

Have the ones older than a year available for download on a website.

Ditto for me too, and I also paid in Dec. Have also sent Natasha emails but don't get a reply. Been up to my eyebrows in family stuff so haven't had time to chase it. I'll try again. :x
