When does an ATF expire exactly?

Say my ATF expires on March 15th. Does it mean I'm still legal to fly the aircraft on March 15th and no flying from the 16th until said paperwork is updated? Or no flying on the last day?
I know, this is cutting it a bit thin, but there we are ... Incidentally, March 15th is a Saturday and if the weather and other powers permit, I'd rather not stay on the ground.
Thanks!
Cheers,
V.

Hi V,
Are still in 2008?? Saturday is the 14th!!
I would say that your ATF would expire on the 15th. My opinion.
Would we see and meet you at FASH on the 14th??
Regards,

Thanks - yeah, really, cool, I guess, I looked at the wrong year. ATF says March 15
2009, though. Then I'm definitely going to be legal to fly on Saturday!

Meaning that I shouldn't push my luck and leave my plane alone on Sunday?

Why not, yes, if weather plays along. Is it going to be ok to fly in with a trike?
Cheers,
V.

Yes, sorry, meaning that I would fly the 15th.
FASH is organizing the fly-in for microlights. perfeclty safe to fly in. Hope to see you there!!

Might be stating the obvious - but ATF also expires if you fly past your TBO or any other maintenance 'waypoints' - ie ATF only valid if the aircraft is airworthy.

Adding to that.... expires with change of ownership or accident/incident (ntca)
