Introducing myself

Postby Morne » Tue Mar 03, 2009 9:04 am

Hi All,

I have been browsing this forum for a few days now.
Decided to join and learn more about this great sport/hobby.

I went for a flight in Feb over Ballito and the beach etc. It was awesome. Would like to learn to fly. Always have been a fan of flight.
Did skydiving , fly RC planes and Helis .

I stay near Randburg and would like to know where the nearest place to start doing a license is?

Thanks.

Welcome and I hope you enjoy your stay (^^) (^^)

Most of the schools are listed under the "Microlight Clubs, Training Schools and Flight Centres" section of the forum.

My view is that Centurion Flight Centre will probably be closest for you. (I live in Wilgeheuwel and trained there myself)

Hope it helps.

If there are training bars the instructor may let you take them and feel the effects of them on the wing, but up to the instructor.
