We took Chokeys phone away so he could not wake us up for an early dump. Jy aka Sexy got a call at about 5am from Coastwise in Port Alfred that it was raining there and he was a bit nervous. We told him to relax, that was 3 hours away. We got back to Robertsvale and were airborne by about 7h30. John Waterson flew with us in one of his awesome Savanahas. Fortunately the Flo had fitted a transponder and EL tower allowed us to route through their airspace along the shoreline at low level. It was lekka as this is my home town.

The weather was smooth and the flying was amazing. We headed for Port Alfred and 43 airschool.

Saw lots to whales, sharks and female bathers along the way, plus a few male plonkers for Gaylord.

We approached PA with a busy tower and a nice greasy breakfast waiting for us. Thanks to Coastwise and Mrs Coastwiser for meeting us there, Nice to meet you both and hope to see you on Sat for the fly in.

We continued toward PE where the Flo called the PE tower for a routing through their airspace. They were very friendly and routed us along the shoreline. They even made a 737 wait for us to pass their centerline.....hehehe - microlighters rock. The Female ATC asked that we report once all 6 of us were passed the centerline. The Flo said that he would orbit for all off us to pass and she replied that it was not not necessary as ......- I can seeeee yoooooou.

We then had to orbit at Willow something for some big thing (MD 87) on finals. Some chop reported that the fog was on the ground and we would not get to St Francis. We continued with good viz all the way in. After 4 hours of flying myself, Focker and Chokey were over the field when PE tower called us to ask if we were all there as some dick in a chopper had reported a trike in the sea. It ended up that he confused a whale with a trike - easy mistake hey!!!!

Anyway we here now.

Demon too us for a booze cruise. Sexy is pissed off because Gaylord bumed a jet ski and Sexy got arseholes wet in a no wake zone - and you thought that Gaylord was a menace in a microlight - HA.

Gee whizz. Sounds like an awesome trip. Still trying to convince my wife to partake in similar adventures. She still threw a medium rare steak in my face even before I opened my mouth about fly aways. Have a ball!! I will only be back in SA for a few weeks in March. Am really enjoying this thread.

I see that Big-G is in his normal position with the cell-phone attached to his head. I am glad to hear it got wet; now he can relax and enjoy the break. As for Gaylord, I can only imagine what he got up to on a jet-ski in the no-wake zone!!!!

All I can say is that I am because I am here in the office and you are all there now with Demon enjoying the sun, booze, meisies and most of all great company! You better have a case of MGD on me and I will reimburse when I see you all again.
