I took the day off yesterday with the idea of finishing all the exercises I have to do before going solo. Managed to bend the undercarrage doing a recovery from a simulated engine out after take off :oops: :oops:

Ok, my saga's not over yet. I now need to do a test flight with a 'CAA-approved instructor' to prove that I can handle the trike. This is after my instructor certified me competent. WILL I EVER GO SOLO???? :x :x :x :x :evil: :evil: :twisted:

Demon, phoned them to find out and it sounds like any CAA registered instructor can do the flight. There are two other instructors (besides mine) in this area and I hope to arrange this for this week. :(
