You have to join Aeroclub and MISASA and pay your annual fees (about R500 total).

If you have joined like you are supposed to you should have the magazine posted to you. Cannot be bought in any of the bookstores.

To have an AP do any maintenance or ATF on your aircraft you are supposed to belong to both the above mentioned clubs, otherwise they are not supposed to do any work on your aircraft.

You only have to be a member of the aeroclub for an AP to sort out you ATF etc. For the Mag. It is Misasa.

Also not sure if I am a member... Want to be of course and suspect Aerosport (AP and School) takes care of the admin for me since I think you have to be a member of Misasa to be legal.

Hi,

The promised mag offer closes today and to those that are local it will be posted today. To those that are overseas - unfortunately our budget is a tad tight but the mag is available electronically - one mag in arreas - at www.misasa.co.za.

Looking forward to your comments

Free mag - I do not have anyone as a registered member at the above Kathu address - only got someone at P o Box 577 Kathu.

You need to follow up with the Aero Club.

Mag offer over - all done and dusted - You missed the bus - how sad - next mag content due by 1 October - to be posted in November.

Time to send in stories

Thanks for posting my free mag alanmack.
It was an entertaining read and lots of useful regulatory information as well.
At my next Aeroclub renewal I will change from "homebuilders" to Misasa so that I can get them all.
