16 December 2008.

Francois did not trust (rightly so!) my advice on how to trim his wing, so we flew to Saldanha so that Johan could tell him the same. The lagoon at this time of the year is a caleidoscope of colours, and I could circle forever taking pictures. On the way from Saldanha to Buffelsfontein, Dirk decided to land (leak being part of an possible explanation) and I had to circle for a while waiting for him before we could catch up with Francois in his shiny old trike at Buffelsfontein. After tea/coffee and scones, we got up to 2000 3000 4000 feet before the bumps became less, with a tailwind of 30mph at one stage! Dropping to 2000 ft once we were in the D200 and the last bit was bumpy but fast. See the log on http://www.zu-dve.com
