I hear you. I have no problem with th restrictions this week, it's raining mostly anyway, but next week is another story.

I cant see any logical reason for these restrictions to be extended? All the big wigs will have left by then....and the real big ones already have.

But this is SA..where reason and logic are somewhat of a myth....

Doing business and running your own company in SA has become very trying, to say the least. Strongs there Stefan.
Just in one week,
At home Monday and Tuesday: 1 Eskdom phase out - cannot pump water
At office: Monday no Municipal water, Tuesday no electricity due to cable theft, this morning no electricity in Queenswood, Kilner Park, Silverton
Street closures in Pretoria. Add 45 minutes to each trip from home to office
Tuesday halve of my employees do not pitch because their Putco busses were withdrawn (without notice) for transport to Soccer City.

I would have made more money by just staying at home this whole week.

No wonder the crowd BOOOOO'd JZ on Tuesday. Die mense is gatvol ...

Chaps... this is coming from the State!

The SAAF & ATNS chaps just have to fall in with Numero Uno.

Spoke to Heksie and let me tell you, the controllers and all support staff are moeg, dead tired!

By Tuesday most of the hoy-paloys will be on their merry way.

We wait to hear what the official cut-off date is. Hulle sê mos - Een man se dood is 'n ander man se brood en dan weer maar net weer 'n ander een se dood!

Took me about 30 minutes to get a FAC an file a flight plan for a flight tomorrow, so at least there is some acceptable service. I really feel for the guys that do not have a transponder or cant do business. You are not allowed to fly your microlight but some fake sign language dude gets in right next to the most powerful man in the world and suddenly no one knows how he got there.

Fully agree. My one FAC application to fly tomorrow afternoon was e-mailed to them at 07h30 and the authorization arrived by return mail just before 09h00. Fantastice service. xxx

ESTIMATED would then make it more flexible... the departments below don't actually know what the State Departments may decide and obviously have "alternative" information at their disposal.

Interestingly enough, OR TAMBO's for increased volumes of traffic is till the 17th which is more realistic and in line with the persons I have spoken to.
