Congrats on your arrival John. Wish you everything you wish yourself. Just sorry we didn't have the chance to have a flip down the coast together. I suppose I will have to get Andy to make the trip.

JY you know there is more aviation in the state of Florida than the rest of the world put together. The flying here in the states is politics free and everyone will always try to help you and not try to police you. Enjoy. I will jump in the arrow once you settled and buz down there to see you. Hi Jamie,

The beers are in the fridge Buddy - plenty of them.

Weekend after next looks good. Grandkids birthday party this weekend.

Getting organised - yesterday bought a car, today opening bank accounts etc. Thinking of buying a motorbike as well - climate is just too good not to enjoy and here, people drive like people.

Going hunting for airfield using GPS co-ords off Jepperson. Craig & Herlong just too big and busy with Lear Jets, military etc. Flagler too far away. Hear about D-Ranch by word of mouth - will go look.

On the way there now. Should be a nice drive. Will go to the tower and also enquire about neighbouring fields.

Just "gotta" consider the corrosion factor if hangar is right on the coast.

The only "big" thing on me is my gut.

But then, it's damn difficult to use a two pound hammer on a twelve inch nail.

That will be cool, the trip is actually to Chicago, the so called trikefest http://www.lightsportaircraft.ca/trikefest-2007/ This is one of the biggest get-together's of trikes in the country, then from there they fly to Oshkosh for a day or two. On this trip there is no ground support and we have to "fend" for ourselves but along the way the guys from Zephyrhills have enough contacts for staying over at places. From Florida it is about 1000 mile trip to Chicago.
