Folk who don't believe you Arnulf are being caught by the error of parallax.

Flat earth society and thinking ?? Goodness me that is so like middle ages thinking, but I do believe the society still exists... if one looks at planetary bodies, in particular ours it's pretty obvious they are spheroid in shape, why is gravity pretty much equal on the surface of the planet at sea level, it will alter slightly at the poles and equator due to the earth being an oblate spheroid, that is slightly flattened at the poles due to rotation forces, that is already indicative that the earth is not flat as there is a central core of gravity pull...

I'm curious what happens when the flat earth guys get to the edge of the horizon? Do they fall off the edge into space? Is that some of the space debris flying around? Ships aircraft cars that went off the edge of earth?

When those early ships vanished over the horizon and people thought they sailed off the edge and fell into oblivion, they simply followed the curve of the earth, when one approaches land from from sea , Durban for example, a good few miles out one will not see Durban City but will actually see the high ground 40 or more miles behind Durban as one sails closer the lower ground comes into view - again the curvature of the earth...

One final consideration why do we have night and day if the earth was flat that would not happen... ever seen a a photo from space of the earth one side is in darkness the other light, it's a sphere!

Re Bin Ladin, Afghanistan is rugged country full of caves thousands of caves, if somebody was hiding in those caves may never find them, who knows maybe the &*%$# had a facelift and is living in Newtown Johannesurg... long runs the fox but he will be caught and I'm pretty sure killed...

Regarding BL - he's at the bottom of a cave buried forever. Mossies.

Can't happen, between gravity and the strong winds you get blown back over land.

I know the earth is round simply because of the fact that this is why we manage to get airborne. We take off and stay at the same altitude. Thankfully the earth is round and thus drops away beneath us. How else?

Arnulf, I have a DVD that shows that your DVD is a fake. In fact if you look closely at your DVD, there is a reflective side. In the center you can see small writing. Take a magnifying glass and read it. It will say "Het jou katvis"

We all know that the world is not flat but a spec on a flower that Horton carries around with him. Jeez guys, where are you getting your information from? Don't you ever watch the ultimate source of knowledge, the Cartoon Channel?

Wouldn't that be the same if the earth is flat?? (**) (**) because if the earth was round, you would technically have to descend to maintain altitude. ## ##

Exactly, in fact if the Earth wasn't round the Cessna 150 would never take off.

Heh, heh, but the old c150/152 are still so endearing to fly, what they lack in performnance they make up in being so easy to fly....

All this waka waka. We need facts so this weekend I went there on Saturday before breakfast, and its true, I saw the footprint myself. Arnulf is right but I see the moon is also flat, that’s why you can’t see it at night because you are looking at the edge, like the edge if a thin frizbee. When I fell off the edge of the world I got like slingshot towards the moon. Its nice there because there is no down or upwind so you can take off any way you want (no fences or powerlines). I took a photo on the way back to prove it (sorry about the quality, the alpha & gamma radiation damaged some of the pixels in my camera). End of discussion.

What Milo is not telling you is the photographer who took the moon landing photos had to get there first. This was his earlier self images while surveying the landscape for the best backdrop. The Milo pics are photoshopped to remove the trike. Obviously the first attempt at a cover up
