Hey Gert, with that picture of the plants in your wheels - now we know why trikes with floats aren't allowed .

Nice pics and logs!

Gert.
I’m getting a severe case of “I’m going to kill if I don’t get in the air-itis”
Will be back next weekend so no rain dances please. You haven’t put any photos up for the calendar?
Speak next week end.
Fly safely.

3 October 2007

Was gonig to have a long flip today, but got too much turbulence for my liking. After my rollercoaster experience some weeks ago I have been ultrasensitive to these flippin bumps. 40 miserable minutes

11 October 2007

More wind than predicted limited myself and Francois to just over an hour's flying this morning. I have posted a videoclip on www.zu-dve.com of my landing in the easterly. It starts with me turning base for a final, and ends ( ) on the runway to my surprise.

Really hard work that x wind landing at Morningstar.

I take my hat off to Trike pilots.

13 October 2007.

A breakfast at Buffelsfontein after the first smooth coastal flight in a long time, and then the bumpy flip back, saved by some altitude. (1:56)

14 October 2007

1:54 of flying with Trygve and Graham. On the way back we landed at Jacobs Bay camp site to join Hans for coffee. Graham went in first, landed just after the roadsign and breaked in time for the speed bump. I came in, flared to late and find myself decelerating too slow towards Graham, so I opted to drive offroad, where a sandbank stopped me. Hmmm
