Spuddy,

Drink some Rum, eat a bit of Garlic.... get yourself Aloe Vera bitter capsules! Too much sweet blood coursing in them veins old chap!

I am sitting in my study... wish we were down in Hout Bay... Relaxing in yonder Jacuzzi... Sipping Coke Zero & Captain Morgan with great friends!

Oh well.... maybe I should rather finish my Cheetah's wiring his weekend!

Sitting on Gold Coast in Australia with my family. Hot and humid here, but wonderful! Still have to find local airfields and get flying.....

In Dubai, in transit, waiting for the flight to Jeddah.

06h27 local time and 04h27 SA time and sitting in the Irish Village sucking on a Stella Artois and easting a hearty Irish breakfast. Life is great!

Ok quick update....

Arrived at 15h30 in Jeddah via Dubai. Just chilling at the moment and will be meeting up with a mate who flies for Saudi Airlines tonight. Work tomorrow and then back to Dubai on Tuesday.

Wart. Irish Village used to be an old haunt of mine. Try Waxy 'O Connors. A good time can be had there as well. Loads of South Africans.

Am in Kenya and coming back to SA next week Friday. Just done the Masai Mara.

I have heard about Waxy's; where abouts is it?

I was at the Irish Village in the airport although I have been to the one outside a few times (make that a few times too many!!). We just had to get the alcohol level up in the blood steam before coming across to KSA, hence the breakies and Stellas at 7am. Must say though, I slept like a baby on the flight over to Jeddah.

Waxy's is in downtown Dubai. Any taxi driver will know. Another place of ill repute is Rattlesnakes in the Metropole Hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road. I am married but went to look maybe once, twice, thrice.........

Hard Rock Cafe near Internet City makes an awesome burger and has a live band playing. Great for some relaxing entertainment without girls from every single country in the world bugging you. Also try the dhlow at Dubai creek for good food and a cruise into the Arabian Sea. If you have the time then do the booze run through Sharjah to Barrucuda where you can buy all the SA wines without needing a liquor licence. Quite frankly I have lived there and now in Kenya for the last couple of years and am seriously looking forward to going home.
