This is where the Shoowa Boys of Morningstar fly in and out from. This was taken from right downwind for 02. Next to the airfield is the N7 to Namibia and other side of that is the Delta 200 area ( different frequency).

It has been a while since I posted here, things have been hectic
A few from last weekend, Sunday morning it was very foggy at Rhino but finally it cleared and it was flying time :D
A bit of local exploration produced the following. It was fun for a change not to be going anywhere but just to explore all the local hills, dirt roads and little rivers.

First a few fluffy clouds to add some character !

People are still asleep down there !

A few clouds to play with !
It is amazing how green everything has become around here, makes for a nice change after all those brown landscapes.
Fly safe,
Rudi

A few more photos from recent local trips.

Harties, most locals visit there regularly, this was taken on a clear but windy day, saw 25mph from the west

The Tswaing crater, that must have been a bang of note when that baby hit !

Another crater shot, look at the cloud reflections on the water.

Approaching Harties from the east.
Fly safe,
Rudi
