No actually I read it as " this will result in getting rid of a lot of dead wood" or "will this get rid of a lot of dead wood. " hence the question
I speed read which skips words and as a result sometimes missread.

I'm thinking .........coupla candidates qualify for the privilage to wear this, and pie throwing (or what?) participants can pay to meter out a bit of much needed discipline.
