Thanks DF. I will try that next time. I must admit that my worst bumps were closer to home and not over the Magalies ridges.
Rooihuiskraal was particularly bad.

I didn't let the bumps get me down. Went to Microland this afternoon and wanted to fly. Waited out the surrounding storms and even saw Tjoek there (he has a beautiful Cobra). He threw the towel in went home. I had to take my son for a flip as he is going for an op and will be in plaster for 3 months.
We eventually managed 20 mins of flying. It was great and smooth. restored my confidence a bit. My first "passenger" since I got my license.
