Hi Saraf

Now I understand, I would also be scared on finals in a RAF. Just joking

Why don’t you tell us about the AGM .- Start a new topic.
The Raf’s that were flying early in the morning
The Magni 22 that went up to 25 000 feet
The Hot new gyro
The easyplan presentation
What’s can we look forward to

thanks all for your comments and opinions....

I knew that I had followed prosedure and was within the law and did the right thing.

And yes I personaly think they should have had a pilot on the ground that took charge of the flying that evening.

Regards

He he, Why is everybody scared of the RAF?????? It is not a dangerous aircraft as everybody says. Gees I am 25 and already have 220h on it.

The AGM was nice , except the runway, really bad runway that was scraped. But we had the option to land @ the bad one or a better one about 3 km away of the resort. other wise it was very nice.

The only RAf's that flew early on Sunday morning was me and my father , we had to still fly to Upington 700km away and they were predicting a head wind of 20knots for our leg from Kimberley to Upington (which we flew into halfway to Upington) and I still had to get on a plane back to Cape Town. The other 2 RAF's was Colin Mulligan and Lourens Terblanch.

I saw the new gyro there and they did 2 flips with it , just around the circuit. Looks nice. Apparently they are having overheating problems.

hi every one.
i was also there and there was a pilot on the ground that handled the radio work.....when i went to fly we waited for him to clear us to the holding point and for the take off....

we had no problems at all and it was a great day ..

there are no overheating problems with the Xenon...

the machine is PERFECT

Yes Braam Hechter took a radio after they flew the Zenon, but this was after I asked him to and informed him that there should be someone on the ground with a radio and this was also after my incident.

I don't know if they had overheating problems at the AGM but some of they guy's said they had the day before they came, and that is why they trailerd it there.

Hi Saraf

I met Colin on Sunday at Brakpan he definitely enjoyed the AGM. Nice green “Shrek” RAF.
I have heard a lot about the RAF , looks like a nice Gyro and would like to test fly it one day.
