Unfortunately in the industry I work in, December is the only time I can take any real leave. Although I am planning on coming down there in May or June for a week or if that's not possible a long weekend.

Perhaps the long weekend over workers day may be an option, accommodation is never a problem there, as my parents have a house in Ramsgate.

Will keep you posted on any developments on this one.

I might have to accept your offer of visiting CAA. The story is getting longer by the day. I am busy with one last attempt. If that does not work, I will phone you. All this nonsense, makes one want to just cock it all, and fly illegally.
