Like I have mentioned before, I was not aware of the Microflight magazine and therefore I apologize if I caused any trouble! I have made it my goal to support Alan and the crew to keep this wonderful Magazine going, I will also try to contribute as much as I possibly can and will nag every person I meet to do the same!

Absolutely no trouble at all SKySketch.... on the contrary, you have made quite a few frequenters of this forum aware of what is available to them.

The content of Microflight Africa (as it says AFRICA) is not limited to South Africa.... it is dependant on material from us as aviators and without it, the magazine wouldn't succeed.

So, shoulder to the wheel, become humble and provide Alan with material that can be used!

I'm willing to bet you that a fully comprehensive feature on 'Flying into Namibia', including legalities, passport control and requirements, airfields, gas availability, helpful contact people, places to stay, places to fly and all the rest, will make that particular mag one of the most sought after ever published.

That's about what went through my mind when I realised that somewhere out there, there were pilots, who did not know of the mag.

Eish > it cannot be!

I believe that a fly-away up the coast with fishing rod in wing from SA into Namibia and on into Angola would be awesome - dreams - I used to punish a hire car with salt - driving the banks of you know where - as the flamingos in there thousands took to the air - can there be a more impressive sight anywhere - dreams - not being in a hurry - dreams - Swakopmund - dreams - early stop along the beach just outside Swakopmund / only place in the world you can instruct the ocean to deliver fish by size, by weight required, by quantity needed and at what time - dreams - fresh fish to order enjoyed around a beach braai - dreams - Angola - dreams - why should they be dreams???

As the mag has said for many many years - Lets fly our African Skies!
