The event was VERY well attended, with more than 20 trikes, 3 gyros, one plane. 3 or 4 guys did'nt bother to land and went off somewhere else. So busy and congested that joining procedures and landings were hectic and if done again with such numbers we would need some rules put in place and a ground control. Lesson Learnt!!
Great to see all the guys and the enthusiasm. (^^)
Microlighting in the Western Cape is 'going Strong" (^^)
Thanks to all who participated. (^^)
Will be working on the next BREAKFAST RUN. vhpy vhpy

Have to Confirm what Grumpy said. Maybe we can try and have a 2 day lead up time in organizing.

Ja, me and V - was a bit late and cicled couple times overhead, but V had trouble with his radio - so we diverted with Barry to Soutkloof. (Barry chat was nice)

Thax to every body involved - till next time.

Sorry guys, the ground looked very busy, the radio was bad and it sounded a better idea to head back without landing.

Cheers,

V.

Heard some of you guys on the way, I was in gyro CVH with a student cross-country. Sounded lekka.
If I had the co-ords on board I would have diverted there.

Without sounding like Trikenut... Where are the pics?

20 trikes, 3 gyros, one plane and no stories to tell? not even a flat tyre? come now guys, lets hear all about the outing!
Ons stel belang!

Lekka to see the microlight fraternity come out so strongly at such short notice.

John, a great Fly inn was had by all. Hairy landing on a narrow farm road. Nothing much to report other than a bit of 'bushwacking' but fortunately nothing serious.
Will do a similar thing shortly after Stellenbosch Valentines fly Inn.
Great flying camaraderie.

It was a great day and indeed some bushwacking but nothing serious. Just an excuse for me to do some much needed maintenance. I look forward to flying with all you guys again soon. Dirk, thanks for the support and help.

I am pleased to hear you all had a good time besides for some "bushwhacking"! (^^)

 Always Safety First and even more so when carrying a PAX (even though there should be no difference between the levels of safety practised!)
