OK - After months of waiting, they finally arrived. All 1kg with brackets. R280 ex VAT = R320.

If you don't want yours anymore, that is fine (I almost gave up waiting myself...)

If you do still want one, please let me know. I can swing by Rhino on Saturday morning (around 10) to drop some off there. Don, I will call you to drop yours off in Jhb. Hopefully on Sunday afternoon.

Thanks,
Justin

I picked up 2 extinguishers yesterday from Transfire but am going to return them today. They are 1kg units, but are very heavy and double the size of the powder 1kg units. If space and weight isn't an issue, these would be a great solution. Considering I fly a Challenger II with long range tanks and a BRS, I have to conserve weight wherever possible. I guess I am going to have to pay the premium for the lighter units from Comet - they now have a 0.5kg unit which is perfect.

I have attached a photo showing the TransFire unit with another 1kg Powder unit for comparison. :( :(

Justin,

Ek stel beslis nog belang, ek's ook Saterdag uitstedig. Stuur asb 'n PM/email met 'n foonnommer, dan kan ek 'n reeling maak om dit te kry.

I spoke to Dan at Transfire and he is going to try get a 1kg bottle - the smallest they have at the moment is a 1.5kg.

D'oh... Was planning on making a delivery dash, but my car won't start... It is one of the most irritating intermittent faults I have ever encountered, but maybe I have it whipped this time. Just need to recharge the battery before I can try again :( ...
