0.6 hours in the circuit on Saturday morning doing cross-wind landings in the schools Aquilla 503.

Quick flip over Table Mountain with kb in a R22 to show him the mountain.

Sunday helped erect the new wind-sock at Cato.

managed to bullshite my way out of the office a hour early on friday to go fly, got to the hangar, opened up, wadda wadda wadda, and noticed that the back right wheel, eish, was flat. So, went drinking instead. Sat did my first hire and fly in the 22, was $#@##$##$ awesome - thanks wart for the breakfast, and sorry the flip was so short. NExt time, we do lunch somewhere.

Nothing during the whole of last week due to flu, missed the Sat morning departure to Vredendal. Sunday, was feeling well enough to go to the field. South westerly blowing moderately. I knew all the guys were trying to get back from Vredendal and decided to check out the conditions.

1 circuit of 3 minutes. bumpy as hell, very turbulant but managed the notorius Morning Star finals quite safely.

Opted to sit on the ground and wait for the guys to return. Two guys came in at about 11h00, a Rans S10 and a Bushbaby. Both complained of excessive turbulance and 40mph headwinds. 160miles in 3 hours. CLU-less took 6 hours in his trike to get back!!!

Decided to get up at dawn's crack and spent a lovely 30 minutes flying around the vinyard (I decided since we don't have cabbage patches here in the Cape I'll call it the vinyard from now on. Sounds so much nicer :D )

Flew over Rondebossie towards Goedverwagt and came across ianrw. Flew together for a while and decided to do a circuit at Altona. Damn radio batteries quit on me so I headed back. Beautiful flight :D 8)

I once went 8 weeks without a flight (my youngest son was born). It was not good for anyone around me

FF, with the weather we're having here at the moment, you might just get a chance to break that record :)

You forget that I live at an airfield. ^ ^ ^ ^

Did 30min of circuits yesterday. Circuits are excellent for getting a bit of discipline back in your flying, and re-honing some skills.
