Sun I'll go to the field to start filling the tank for next weekend & see if the motor starts up.

Just in the back this past Saturday. Very short flip. Waiting for mr Trygve to get back from Moz so that I can Solo. Spl is next to my bed. Wonder if I could just pay another instructor to send me solo so long. Problem being my whole sudent file is with Trygve
Still to take you an air photo of Wintervogel. To busy getting my trike ready for the flight. Will do so asap.

Arriving at Wintervogel on Saturday morning was a sight of activity, pre-flights being done, engines warming up, tanks being filled, cameras checked, smell of coffee in the air and alas a plan to do a west coast flower run, compliments Barry, armed with a route in mind. All turned out to be a wonderful days flying taking us via Sandkloof to Yzerfontein, along the coast to the southern point of the Langebaan lagoon with its own splendour of colours and shapes, then turning back passing Darling followed with low level flight dodging off to patches of flowers on route back to Wintervogel.

And then.....! John winning a spot landing competition with flying colours.... or rather with flying sh*t! He managed to put his front wheel down in the middle of a heap of cow dung on a farm road with spectacular results. Well done John!
