The in-laws... not so bad if they're cool! Does your wife come from Kimberley or was Kimberley just a passing town on the way to Cape Town?

I'm scared of the Star - might get bliksemed there - many a digger saw is demise in that joint! :lol:

It is 19:00 local on Monday and you guys are all probably still sleeping...

Wish I was heading that way rather than to Jeddah and then Dubai. Temperatures in the mid-40's at the moment!!!

Well, now sitting in the lounge at Durban airport. Tried to get myself checked through Jeddah but they said it was a no-go. Either to Joburg or to Dubai, then I have to collect my luggage and check in again!! Marvels of modern technology and efficiency of good old SAA!!! Needless to say I opted to check in again in Joburg (let's hope there are no flight delays!) and then I will have a clear run all the way through to Jeddah.

Will keep you all updated as to what the out-come is.
