Mervyn needed to confirm with Brian at Pyramid that he could accommodate us.

This is now confirmed, and the weekend is ON!

Let's hope the weather plays along for this one!

We are also booked in at Pyramid. We have had to take a 4 bed chalet as it was the only one left. Anyone else still looking for accommodation can use up the extra beds. Is there a plan to have a pre-trip briefing/meeting to agree route and re-fuel stops etc?

Cheers Frank

Mervyn normally has a pre-flight briefing on the Wednesday evenening before the trip. If last year is anything to go by, which I belive it is, we leave Friday morning first light for a fuel stop at Fairview (Carolina) and then on to Pyramid overflying Badplaas. Way back, on sunday morning, is fuel stop Arnot Power station and then Microland. So, Dionne, Fiona and Sharon driving together? (^^)

I'll be driving in and enjoying a beer or two.

Not worth the effort for a three minute flight from Brakpan!

Cheers!

No problem. I will fly out and back and then most probably drive there again. Then I can have a beer. (^^)

Paul, you are so close, by the time your 912 is warmed up, it would have been quicker to push your gyro there and back. vhpy
