Morning to my fellow Deneysville Crusaders. (!!)

Guys, I do not like what I see on Windguru for Saturday. Sunday looks ok in the morning but the predictions for Sat down at the Vaal are beyond what I'm prepared to fly in. :(

Frank....should we not maybe look at postponing this until next weekend 14th July? I am available then, as is Mr Mulder I'm told....just not sure about you and Nick?
I'm quite happy to drive down and come have a jol this weekend.... but would be sad not to be able to fly down as planned. :(

Would Smallwood Castle be able to accommodate us then?

Your call Sir. (^^)

I agree with Alan. Saturday only looks flyable in a trike if it was a matter of life an death. We do this for fun!!
I have been checking weather forecast every day this week and it continues to say blown out on Saturday.
If you and Paul are keen for the following weekend that would be fine by us. Robbie, it was I think, phoned on Sunday and indicated he would be keen so I hope he reads this.
Postponed to weekend of 12th/13th July.

Cheers Frank

That sounds good to me. (^^)

Jana is happy to drive through but does not want to drive through by herself. Is there a way we can arrange something, i'll be happy to supply my car and petrol for the trip.

Hi Paul,

Maybe install a load of movement sensitive cameras around the hangars and house them in #$@ proof boxes. Record all movements and anything suspicious or theft related that can be used to identify and possibly locate the criminals.

Turbo seems to be involved and knowledgeable with these sorts of things (cameras). Maybe he can give some advice.

Alarm systems have a recurring monthly cost which is expensive over the long term.

Other than that you guys up north have a great camaraderie and spirit.

Thansk bayliner...you are right, we have a great thing going up here....the guys and girls are keen and our activities are very well attended and there is always a lot of laughter and enjoyment. Sometimes we carry on for the whole day until after dark. (^^) (^^) Just such a pitty that there is always this element that robs and destroys what others are creating and thus putting the breaks on. ## ##

Ja, Oom Dawid, Hans is not planning on doing anything. What is left has been moved off the premises. I also don't think an alarm system with armed responce will work because, by the time they have traveled out there the thives are long gone. Cameras may be a deterent but I have never heard of a case where the thives have been identified and caught. Well not in the case of breaking and entering. There is a beautiful video of the whole episode with little further value. We were thinking of appointing a night watch.??? Lets discuss it at the next event. They luckily did not take much. My feeling is they were expecting much more valubale items behind such extensively padlocked and barred doors....kry vir julle bliksems. ## ##

Paul will know exactly where I'm coming from when I say that's not the first time...

It's up to us. I have some suggestions too that I will discuss with you all in person.

The above answer is just not good enough in my opinion....

Take it easy this weekend boys, weather is gagapoefies. :(

Put a cheap padlock on the cupboard door and store a couple of half full bottles of brandy and whiskey in there, all spiced up with a bit of Temic or Aldicarb.

PS. Weather depending, I want to ferry a trike on Sunday from ML to Brits.
