For the latecomers, here are legible copies of the indemnity and landing authority

Mcfly, please can you post all forthcoming technical details in your original post as well as in the thread?

From Misasa's side, I'd like to thank all of those taking part in this historic event (^^)...and especially Les for organising this all. (^^)

On Sat 12 May, for the first time ever, a military airshow will be opened by a flypast involving 50 (plus?) Microlight Aircraft at Swartkops AFB. What better way to celebrate "100 years" than flying past in an aircraft which lends itself towards what the Wright Bro's achieved so many years ago..... Would have loved to be up there with you boys! Show those "vlamgatte", "blik" and "flingwing" pilots how we roll!

Awesome oportunity for you to showcase our sport....From your Committee.... Good luck guys. :) (^^)

.... I'll see some of you hooligans on Fri evening (^^)

Well, this thread has run to 13 pages already, and there's probably going to be a lot of further activity before Saturday.

Can you edit your post right at the beginning to include all the important stuff, so we can be sure we haven't missed an important announcement. e.g. the circuit details, frequencies etc. as and when they become available. Perhaps attendance list, too.

By all means post at the end of the conversation as well (if only to say "new info - look at the original post!"), but make sure all the need-to-know stuff is in one place up top.

Thanks

Will be returning by car from Polokwane on Friday evening, and on Saturday, I made a date with Jenya this afternoon to sort out "The Wing That Is Trying to Kill Me.." (He had better deliver....I have paid him enough! ## )

Funny enough, I phoned Nicow from Potties earlier to see if we could meet up while I am up there in Limpopo - but he informed me that he will be in the air at that time, flying to the Big Smoke for this event!  I'll drop in via "Hyundai" on Sat afternoon - IF - AND ONLY after Jenya tunes DLP's wing to my satisfaction! ## ## "I is putting my feets down on service and waarde vir my bokke....this is not a VW beatle with clutch problems and a subsequent call for the AA.
