Let me tell you guys the water is hugely important as is a working, fully charged cellphone.

Case in point, my recent accident at Altona.

Altona is merely 8miles away from Morning Star, it is a secluded unpopulated farm strip. As the BB had just been finished I hadn't put any tools or my water in it yet.

I called finals, touched down, front wheel decided to leave, and after an intense few seconds I ended up, upside down. The aircraft antenna was previously on the roof, was now snapped off underneath the plane rendering the radio useless. (carry your spare rubber antenna if you have a handheld).

I took out the medical kit, cellphone, found my glasses crumpled up on the roof and I found a nice cool place to sit, far away from the potential explosion and called Skidmark for help.

By this time I was dying of thirst, the shock, heat, whatever and I didn't have any water. Skid arrived 40 min later and he didn't have water. Pink Floyd arrived another hour later and he brought me some energades to drink. I tell I was going nuts. 2 hours only, and I was prepared to drink anything. Even the cow water trough was empty.

Now imagine a remote crash, you are injured so can't go look for water. Man it really opened my eyes.

For more local flying I have a "fly-away" bag containing most of what's been mentioned already,

Don't forget extra two-stroke oil !!! whatever brand you prefer (that's another debate)

Extra Carb Jets, spare fuel filter, some soldering wire, the radio's little rubber aerial, cell phone car charger if you have a cig lighter socket on your panel, spare rechargeable batteries for GPS, a small torch.

All the appropriate documentation in a seperate folder as covered in another thread.

I also have a Cadac Stainless Steel flask for coffee

So how do you fit the trike around all this?

Seems like a long list but if you chose lightweight materials and the nesseccary quantities and lengths then it could easily be stowed away.

Hi,

Please remember your emergency strips.
It must be 4 strips of 60cm x 2.5m.

These strips must be on aircraft if you do x-country of more than 20nm from base.

After comprising the list, can someone then please create schedule of the "how to get it in airplane" manual. Please don't let CAA get their hands on this manual, otherwise we will start seeing PART 24(z) being pushed up our noses.

Please add some KY-jel for gaylord as well.

Just weld hooks all along the frame so you can hang your plastic checkers bags from them

All the above very usefull, My softness knows that these are nessasary and she also knows that because of all this she is only allowed 3 g-strings because the granny panties would be too heavy and it would take us over the max full up weight.

You cant turn them inside out like the conventional panties.
Let us not stray off the topic here, The various uses of g-strings is a different topic altogether - It would also be one of the most frequently replied topic on this forum, AND IT IS NOT AVIATION!
