Do the 'labourer/staff picket, dump the sand, order 48 pizza's with his details and have them delivered to his house...' you could go on and on, I know of people who are in jail because scare tactics can go wrong.

Lets rather behave as the gentlemen that we are in the air. Calculated and decided having taken all the factors into account and assessing the options. Jail/Aids and everything associated with it just aint worth R30k. The risk outweighs the reward in my humble opinion.

The easy one is to subscribe to and then list him with ITC as a bad payer ,this will give him untold hassles for the next 5 years if he wants to apply for any sort of credit ,you can do this without getting a judgement .
The only way to rescind the notice is high legal expenses on his side or you must withdraw the notice .
You must be ready to write off the amount as these types of guys will normally get hardegat if you start pushing
