I had a vibration which I tried to sort out and spent almost the entire day troubleshooting.
Narrowed it down to the gearbox and/or engine mountings. Will try and sort it out this coming weekend with the help of the Irish Green Man who will lend me another gearbox to try out :D

Not sure about the gearbox unless you have a harmonic from an induced heterodyne vibration causing the NVH.
Is the vibration felt across most rpm levels or just at one or two parts of the power band?

Hey duck - what is your gear ratio? What prop you got? I had a harmonic induced vibration every 2400 revs, 4:1 gear, 3 blade prop, 2 cylinder engine. 4x3x2=24
Pulled out the gear and put a 3.57, vibration gone. Needless to say - I still have the 4:1 gear somewhere in a box and if you want to try it you are most welcome.
