Cost of Microlights

Postby Captain Biggles » Thu Dec 07, 2006 11:57 am

Loanshark has stirred the pot only because he has bought a half share in a Skyranger and does not want anyone else to share in the pleasure he is experiencing training in one at present. 3 sales of New Skyrangers has resulted from this site due to it's price. At present a V-Max with(BCARS certification) with the X-Lam covering option with engine mount of your choice, wing tips with VAT and transport from France is selling for 135K delivered to your nearest Airport for collection.Contact your local Skyranger agent and find out for yourself.
Bye the way his posting about the Skyranger was a cock up as it should have been a PM to me to make me jealous. Bad mistake.

cost of aircraft

Ha-Ha Loanshark who are you fooling. Most of us Know that you have bought a Skyranger. Dont you want others to know what the big smile of yours is all about. Your smile reminds me of a 1948 Chevrolet grill full of bugs and things. I believe you are busy rewriting the conversion training manual at present???? well enjoy the training< I believe beers in the club house soon. Hope this puts Loansharks quote to bed, he made a balls up and sent a pm tome on this site. Naughty, I thought I was the only one capiable of doing so. Progressed in the last 3 months, I have.

I think it has more to do with the safety and performance combined with the affordability CB.

Price is only part of the equation..................

Tell you guys what, On behalf of Capt Biggles - next time any of you are here in Slummies take this as an open invitation to come and fly the SR with CB.

A word of warning though - Unless you have cash to purchase one on the spot do not attempt the above - After the first flight you will be sold and if you cannot take one home with you to add to your collection you are going to be as miserable as a wet cat in a microwave......

Anyone have any idea why the local trike prices went up?

Looks like almost a 20% increase.

If you don't turn the numbers, you have to lift the prices to stay afloat. :?

I think this may be the closest. Wonder if they have done a Cost/Volume/Profit (CVP) analysis. Sometimes hiking the price leads to even less units being sold so even less profit.

From what I recall, Rotax normally have a Jan price increase - so maybe we see another increase in the new year.

So looks like it is not just only the second hand trike market that is no doing so well.

I would rather pump some dollers into marketing to advertise and premote the product so I can gain market share and to create a demand if I were in the game. puff
