If a trike /wing is kak from a safety perspective or other then so be it. The local or importer of crap will then jack up their socks due to competition if it were made public. Besides the idea of test flying all the trikes that you consider is practically impossible. It took me almost 4 weeks to testfly ONE!
What I find does help is seeing an instructor even few months to catch up on "gossip". VERY few instructors are unbiast.
As far as commission works hows this - I went to a certain airfield interested in Trike X, but halfway through the instructor starts selling me the trike next to it and the one next to that, the diff being all the others were Trike Y and guess what?? Yip he receives MORE comm on Trike Y. Ironically all the pro's he mentioned of trike Y were already on X

.
Head 2 Head stuff rocks, the UK sites (durham, bmaa) have a few reviews and BYDANJONSON.com also helps. Often you find the roll rate etc. MOST imported trikes have faily comprehensive manuals (I've read like 8

)
Here's a suggestion
When comparing wings we look at climb, sink rates etc. Is there not an index or unit for measuring turbulence handling? 1 Man power in X winds etc.? or other issues people want to know more about?
