Eagle1 ready for take-off
4hrs this weekend
Flew another 4 hours this weekend, what a great machine. We were doing hovers in some gnarly turbulance and maintained directional stability no problem. I am starting to really get why guys love their gyros so much. We took off at 12:30 (hot hot hot) 60deg crosswind and flew circuits for an hour - no problem, I kept expecting to be bounced around and it never came. Us microlight pilots have lazy feet and my instructer has to keep reminding me that I have rudders (LEFT RUDDER , RIGHT RUDDER, LEFT RUDDER - you get the idea)
