Postby Coyote » Thu Sep 07, 2006 4:54 pm

Hey FF if you guys  want to do a flight park - I can help, this is my game.

It is a timeconsuming and costly process but maybe we can get some invstrs interrested. Do you have some land in mind?

Very sad to hear about La Mercy FF.

Come and give Western Australia a look if you can - lots of room for expansion in the market here. Only 3 trike instructors in the whole of WA and this being the fastest growing segment in Australia. You could easily put a flying business together here somewhere in the South West of WA - beautiful country - puts the Garden Route to shame.

Organise a monster fly in

Postby ZULU1 » Fri Sep 08, 2006 7:44 am

The only people capable of preventing the airport going ahead are Mr Zumas lawyers, they are rather busy at the moment...so I think a huge farewell fly in of everything that flys is in order...

Lets organise it Dave and Annie, its the end of an era and a institution..

How many people have learnt to fly there..would be interesting to know ?? DVD sales will be huge, a video from Richards Bay to the point, including all the jollies, Wartburg, Cato, Howick and so on..I will help on that project. Ballito will be next.

Thanks for all the support guys. :)

I think a fly-in will most certainly be on the cards. We are in negotiations now with ACSA, and will see exactly when they want us out.

We have just come from a great wing-less holiday (our first in over 7 years!), and it gets kind of exciting to dream about what we are going to do next, and where...

Besides, the life we have been having at La Mercy, can't be topped my most people or things, and for that I am gratefull.

Well after your termination / notice period has expired why don't you just stay put and claim squatting rights or something along those lines; seems to work elsewhere???

Hiya Cornell

Postby ZULU1 » Fri Sep 15, 2006 7:44 am

Hiya Cornell...Its as friendly as Ladysmith without the luxuries of your fantastic clubhouse, just dont fly over, go and give them a visit. Coffee is good. And you can put down a A340 (soon) so your 172 should be easy. The place is busy at weekends. You dont have much time...Watch the model airplanes, Choppers in the square, PPgs, Microlights etc....

As long as you and Dave don't disappear and keep us posted, I believe you guys will make a success of anything you tackle any way.

Cheers, but just for now.
