Johan, Bundy, Willem, JB?
Hi Sean
Go to the ICASA site and apply online, it takes forever but has to be done. Download the form, complete the detail and mail to them. They will let you know the amount to pay and once you have paid, they will forward you a Proof of payment that will cover you till the license arrive (Some months later)

Just been through this exercise, that is why I know.

BTW, how is the new trike flying?
Hi Johan

Trike flying very nicely, very happy with it!!

You got your Dondervoel sorted yet - you know we're not far from Gariep when you do your trip (^^)

Had some time to kill this afternoon so did a little "light reading"....

Of the 18 completed Accident Reports involving WCM between 2008 and 2010...

There were: 5 accidents where the pilots were found to be non complient (expired atf's, medicals, ratings etc)

Thats 28%!

Bundy...

The % is higher than 28% as those are only the accidents that were reported or ended up on the table of the CAA and were found to be non-compliant.

Those not reported and brushed under the carpet to disappear into oblivion are normally, besides breaking CAR's, are in some sort of contravention anyway!
