Hey John,

Sorry we did not spend some time at the PTAR last year. Could see you were busy with your maps at the time.

I may have to bow out this year due to work load. You are a good man (^^)

Cheers

Sorry about that Andy... My pilot had previously won the PTAR and was not going to be told how to fly by BadNav at the time....

Day 1 we did things his way..... the result.... way down the field!

Day 2 we did things my way.... the result.... 17th overall for the day and we gained 27 places if my memory serves me right. Just think if we had done it my way day 1 with all the gains that was on offer - I calculated a top 10 spot!

Shout when you are in Cape Town and maybe we'll be there as well. A serious piss-up at Morningstar can surely be arranged! (^^)

I was in exactly the same boat. I was telling exactly where we should be passing an upcoming waypoint and we were way to the left of it. I pointed it out but he was adamant that he was on the right track. I was right and we lost about six minutes for the day. We would also have been in the top 10 but then hindsight is a perfect science. All in all I really enjoyed it and am bummed out that I can't be there this year. Good luck to you and George and have a couple of (^^) for me.
